At Pelican Global, and Peli Europe, our mission has always centered around ‘Built to Protect’ solutions. These solutions start with our iconic brand and our innovative products but extends far beyond. A key dimension at Pelican / Peli is the strategic consideration of how we also ‘Build to Protect’ our global environment with the actions we take as a company. These actions include RE-INFORCING the durability of our products, RE-DUCING our carbon footprint, and RE-PURPOSING our excess materials. We hold our ethics and quality control to the highest standard. We’ve undertaken projects to increase recycled content, recycle or reuse waste, and save energy and water.

We’ve identified goals that shape the future of Pelican’s sustainable development, including putting safety and fairness first, valuing our communities, enhancing the recyclability and reusability of our products, and promoting resource efficiency.

Our Global Contribution

As Pelican continues to participate in initiatives that support sustainable operations, philanthropic efforts, and ethics and compliance, we feel it is important to link our sustainability strategy to global efforts- particularly the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which were developed to create a more peaceful, just, and healthier planet by 2030.

Based on our work, we have identified the following six SDGs where we can contribute the most positive impact:

We have made significant progress on reducing our carbon footprint over the past several years through a series of strategic initiatives. From establishing a regional vertical integration model, aligned ESG partners, to investments in modern, and more efficient equipment, we are reducing our carbon footprint.

Spotlight: California Case Center Repurposes Excess Case Foam

As part of its latest efforts to reduce waste and reuse material across Pelican, our California Case Center in Ontario, CA recycles the excess foam produced. This prevents the foam from being disposed of by means of incinerators or ending up in landfills and reduces Pelican’s carbon footprint.
